All Nighter The frantic buzz of an all-nighter is a universal creative rite of passage, whether it's powering through final assignments or racing to polish a portfolio. Created in collaboration with Kalyn Best, Jay Elliot, and Bathany Yacoub, All Nighter is a hand-drawn 2D traditional animation loop designed as a showreel promotion for the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. The loop captures a relatable, slice-of-life snapshot of a girl working late into the night, watching her workspace objects float and hum around her as fatigue and imagination blur in the quiet hours of the morning. Inspired By: The shared, slightly surreal experience of pulling late-night work sessions, mixed with a clean, expressive lo-fi aesthetic and charmingly simple, animatable character shapes.
