Overview
Created as the flagship project for a collaborative class at SCAD, 3D 2B brought together a dedicated crew of 8 artists to explore the visual rivalry between traditional and digital mediums. The film transforms a playful, back-and-forth sibling rivalry into a high-octane battle sequence as a brother and sister fight for dominance over the canvas. The project serves as an intensive showcase of a hybrid production pipeline, comically pits structural 3D .fbx and .obj meshes against fluid, hand-drawn 2D images and paper cutouts. Inspired By: The eternal medium rivalry between digital dimensions, high-energy martial arts choreography, and the striking visual contrast of mixing flat graphic shapes with dimensional perspective.
