Here is a short experimental animation showing how an inquisitive cat is treated by a fisherman in a post-apocalyptic world.
A team of nine people completed the film and the main focus was on the synchronous work for the short film

Concept
A short film we made as an independent project, Midnight Catch. It was decided by the team and me to give it a traditional artistic look. With this in mind, we used a digitally rendered painting texture with a 3D background. This was a mix of a team building and directing work as this required a lot of planning and working well with a group of nine members.
The story is a feeling of connection that the fisherman feels when he glimpses a cat in the post-apocalyptic world scavenging for simple fishes.
The storyboarding phase was vote based and the story was altered by the group's decisions unanimously
